ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference has announced this week’s Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Awards for the week of April 9-15.
Offensive Player of the Week
Erin Coykendall, Northwestern
Grad. – A – Spencerport, N.Y. – Spencerport – Major: Master's in Sports Administration
- Recorded a team-high eight points in the No. 1 Wildcats’ 19-10 victory over Ohio State
- Matched a season-high with six assists in the win
- Scores her fourth career Offensive Player of the Week honor and second this season
- Last Northwestern Offensive Player of the Week: Madison Taylor (April 9, 2024)
Midfielder of the Week
Kristin O’Neill, Penn State
Sr. – M – Odenton, Md. – Archbishop Spalding – Major: Marketing
- Paired three goals and three draw controls to lead No. 19 Penn State to a 12-11 win over then-No. 4 Maryland
- Recorded a team-high eight shots to go with a ground ball and a caused turnover
- Nabs her third career Midfielder of the Week award and second of the season

- Faces a season-high 36 shots in the victory
- Earns her first career Defensive Player of the Week accolade
