Washington and Rutgers Tabbed as Big Ten Boats of the Week

Washington I Eights
• Competed in one of the toughest Windermere Cup regattas in history, taking on senior-level national teams from Great Britain and Canada
• Finished second behind Great Britain in a time of 6:13.5 and ahead of Canada

Rutgers II Eights
• Helped Rutgers to a third-place finish at the Women’s Eastern Sprints
• Took first in the prelims in 6:21.7, nearly eight seconds ahead of runner-up No. 23 Dartmouth
• Placed second in the grand final (6:19.2) to best No. 21 Harvard-Radcliffe and the Big Green

Rutgers III Eights
• Picked up a pair of the Scarlet Knights’ 10 victories at the Women’s Eastern Sprints
• Came in first in the prelims with a time of 6:38.6
• Defeated No. 23 Dartmouth and No. 21 Harvard-Radcliffe in the grand final after clocking in at 6:34.8

Rutgers I Fours
• The prelims saw the Scarlet Knights on top with a nearly 10-second margin of victory (7:12.0)
• Crossed the finish line in 7:11.5, beating No. 23 Dartmouth and No. 9 Brown
