Washington Wins 2026 Big Ten Rowing Championships

Huskies placed first in six of the seven Grand Finals

INDIANAPOLIS – With a record-setting 350 points, Washington took home the 2026 Big Ten Rowing Championships crown presented by Allstate on Sunday. The Huskies clocked first-place finishes in six of the seven Grand Finals at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis to earn their second title in as many years.

Washington beat out Rutgers (322 points) and Ohio State (262 points) to finish atop the podium. Michigan placed fourth behind 255 points while UCLA rounded out the top five with 227 points.

With Sunday’s victory, Washington earns the conference’s automatic berth into the 2026 NCAA Rowing Championships, which take place May 29-31 at Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Gainesville, Ga. The full field of this year’s NCAA Championships will be announced on Tuesday, May 19 at 5 p.m. ET via a streamed selection show on NCAA.com.
