Michigan earned its 14th consecutive NCAA Championship berth and 22nd overall. The Wolverines, who placed second at Sunday’s Big Ten Championships, have finished in the top five in 11 of their previous 21 appearances, including three of the past four seasons, with a school-best runner-up finish in both 2001 and 2012.
