Michigan, Michigan State and Nebraska Earn Big Ten Weekly Indoor Track & Field Awards

Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Morgan Beadlescomb, Michigan State
Gr. – Algonac, Mich. – Algonac

• Clocked the fourth-fastest time ever for any NCAA men's runner in the indoor mile, crossing the line in 3:52.03 in the Men's Magnificent Mile at the Windy City Invite
• Set a new personal and school record in the event, marking the second school record he has broken this season following a 7:43.22 mark in the 3000-meter race at the 114th Millrose Games last month
• Leads the nation in the mile this season
• Earns his first career Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor

Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Aurora Rynda, Michigan
Sr. – Toronto, Ontario – Lawrence Park

• Moved into the national lead this season while setting new Canadian and school records with a 600-meter time of 1:27.05 at the Windy City Invite
• Posted the fastest time ever run on an international-standard 200-meter track by a woman in the Big Ten and the fourth-fastest in collegiate history on a 200-meter oval
• The time leads the world by nearly a quarter of a second so far this winter
• Receives her fourth career Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor, third of the season and second in as many weeks

Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Mayson Conner, Nebraska
Jr. – McCool Junction, Neb. – York
• Won the high jump at Tyson Invitational with a season-best clearance of 7 feet, 3.25 inches (2.22 meters)
• Remains the Big Ten leader and is currently tied for fourth nationally in the event
• Secures his first career Indoor Field Athlete of the Week selection
• Last Nebraska Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week: Burger Lambrechts Jr. (Feb. 9, 2022)
 
Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Jenna Rogers, Nebraska
Fr. – Rutherford, N.J. – Rutherford
• Placed second in the invite section of the high jump at the Tyson Invitational with a personal-best clearance of 6 feet, 0.75 inches (1.85 meters)
• Leads the Big Ten in the event this season and is tied for eighth nationally
• Garners her first career Indoor Field Athlete of the Week award
• Last Nebraska Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week: Axelina Johansson (Dec. 15, 2021)
