Ohio State Women Win 2022 Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships

ROSEMONT, Ill. — The Ohio State women’s outdoor track and field team won the 2022 Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Minneapolis on Sunday. The Buckeyes claimed their fifth program title and second in as many years.

Ohio State tallied a meet record 185.5 team points, topping the previous mark of 179 points set by Michigan in 1994. Wisconsin finished in second place with 98 points and Minnesota finished in third with 87. Penn State tallied 82.5 and Nebraska 71 to round out the top five, respectively.

The Big Ten Track Athlete of the Championships, Field Athlete of the Championships, Coach of the Year and Sportsmanship Award honorees will be announced on May 18. The Big Ten Track Athlete of the Year, Field Athlete of the Year and Freshman of the Year will be announced the Wednesday following NCAA Championships, June 15.
